Ask your dealer if he will let you pre-trade it. My dealer did this for me and gave me what I paid minus the sales tax, with upgrades, tonneau and cat back, he gave me 26,000.00 for a trade, so I lost nothing but get the tax advantage. If you sell you'll have to pay sales tax on the whole GXP price. So on my GXP I will only pay tax on 4,000.00 which is 240.00. We have to turn it over on June 30th.When I bought it I traded in a 12,000.00 jeep so if I sold out right I would of lost the sales tax advantage I got on that car.
But I don't know the sales tax law's in Texas so you'll have to check.
It's a lot easier this way, you don't have to spend any money on advertising or anything, plus get the tax advantage.
