I have some bad news. My computer crashed and all of my pics and videos from Saturday have somehow vanished into its bowels. I spent about an hour or so searching for them yesterday with no luck. I'm going to ask someone to look into it next weekend, but I'm not too optimistic.

Nope. I'm pretty sure I left it sitting up on its side so it wouldn't get too hot when I headed out Saturday morning, and that night when I got back it was sitting flat on the carpet. I won't say anything to his parents about it, but I do have a suspect:
The computer wasn't excessively warm or anything and seemed OK, so I moved all of the files into it. Shortly thereafter, it started freezing up. I had to do a hard reboot and it kept freezing, so I did a system restore. When I did that, it couldn't find some portion of my user profile, so it used a temproary one. I eventually got it back to normal, but I can't find those pics. I do have about 15 or so that I was able to transfer back into the camera when things were looking bad, but those were all I could save, and they're not that great.
