Two of our Phoenix club members are travel agents, and they have worked with Carnival Cruise lines to arrange a Kappa Kruise to Mexico next year. We will be departing from Long Beach on 5:30 PM on Friday, May 1st, and then cruising overnight to Ensenada Mexico. Saturday will be a play day in Ensanada, and Sunday will be a day at sea filled with Kappa-related events, finally disembarking the ship at 8:00 AM Monday morning. We will be posting individual kappa-related events as we get closer to the date.
The cost is $366 for an inside cabin and $406 for an ocean view (including all port fees, government fees, documentation fees, etc), or significantly less if you do quad occupancy.
The cruise line is also giving us some other group incentives, which we are using to purchase custom Kappa Kruise event t-shirts and other goodie-bag items for all attendees, so all of that is also INCLUDED in the price. They are also giving us a meeting room for our exclusing use on our "day at sea" which we will be using for kappa events, education and meetings.
To hold a state room, all you need is a $25 deposit. We have only booked a limited number of rooms in each class, so please book ASAP, especially if you want an ocean view.
To make a reservation, go to the following group events link:
https://www.ytbtravel.com/grouptrave...TBID=YTB375640
Scroll down to "Kappa Kruise" (alphabetically) and click on it and then choose your cabin type.
Note: Our group is scheduled for Main/Early Seating, 6:00 P.M. Dinner.
This allows us lots of time for nightlife (Casino, Shows and Bars & Clubs).
Oh, one more thing. YOU MUST HAVE A PASSPORT!
If you are interested, especially in an Ocean view room, please book ASAP. Otherwise, please PM me or speak up in this thread and we will try to keep you informed.
UPDATE: Because this is the weekend just before Cinco de Mayo, the cruise line told us that the ship is filling fast with groups. Therefore, please book ASAP because when the group rooms are gone, we probably will not be able to add more.
COUNT: As of July 14th, ten state rooms have been reserved so far from our group.
