Hey Whitefang,,,,,,,,,,,,,Would it be to hard to put asterisks by peoples name that's already booked ( Like Me )...... Just a thought? Anyway, I think that would be pretty cool and,,,,,,,,,,,, it might encourage other people to get their reservations in.

I assume this means we're driving?
Have you figured how many extra days you plan to add on either end of the event?
A quick calculation from my place is 1,881 mi – about 1 day 4 hours with no stops.
I'm assuming we'll be doing the I-80 to I-76 route so I would probably meet up with the EastCoastSolsticeSkyContingent somewhere around the I-287/I-80 intersection near Parsippany.
I'm thinking two extra days added to each end with one being an over-night stop somewhere near Indiana/Illinois state line, and then arrive the night before everything gets going - how's that work with you two? (16th -23rd ?)

Just for the record I'm proud to say I have filled out my Official NASSOA Membership Application and will get it in the mail as soon as I get back home later this week.
My reservation at the hotel is from 6/18 - 6/21. I'm hoping to leave on the morning of the 17th, stay over somewhere around IN or IL, meet up with iHawk somewhere, and drive the rest of the way on the 18th. Of course, the whole thing is a year out so that's far from final.

All I can say is, the more the the merrier. I'm sure that the caravan planning will begin in earnest sometime around February/March and Parpippany sounds like a good place to meet. Got to watch that we don't get pulled over....
