Now that we have completed our 1st tour MECCA11 we can start thinking about the next big one. Yes, count us in from MD. We've never been to Colorado and it will be exciting driving in our new Solstice!! Is there a hotel thread?

We just need to figure out our caravan. Dino and dashark are meeting me in LaSalle, IL...I-80 & I-39. So you won't have to drop down to Minonk. Dino wants to make it to Des Moines as he wants to make the trip in 2 days. That's fine as I have good friends there and can get good recommendations for places to stay. I alreadly know where to eat, etc as my ex hubby was from Des Moines. Des Moines to Denver will be about 9 hrs. Are you and Diane going to be able to break up the trip so we can do that?
Anyone else that wants to caravan with us...we'll coordinate accordingly. Yeah...I know we have a year to think about it, but I like to get an early start on this stuff. It's a long trip!!

Okay you can not book online but if you call them and make sure you tell them it is 2009 then you can book it. It took the person at the desk about 10 minutes to find it but they did and he was going to let his supervisor know that we are booking for 2009. A deluxe suite is 124.00 per night 300 sq ft and a premium room is the same but higher up and only queen beds.
So I am booked and have a confirmation number and have wrote it in PEN!!
I always wanted to meet the west cost groups, this will be tons of fun.
