Got our pass today.
Ranger called the peak and all but 3 miles are closed due to a snow storm.
The unpaved portions are a greasy mess and under repair.

Give it a few days to melt off. The weather is marginal in Nevada though it appears to be just ahead of me. Only one nasty encounter with some t-storm flooding today. Figures since I detailed it yesterday.

Carboncopy and I arrived at the Omni this afternoon. There is a green Sky from Cal. here also. If anyone is military or a government employee, show your ID and ask for the government rate.

Santiago is SC-he's here in Leadville with us, going STAGE 3 on Thursday!!
I hope my poor little NA can keep up with 2 GXPs tomorrow...Santiago's leaving early to pick up a friend...don't say it Joe!...at DIA.
Also, odds are Santiago has the highest mileage Sol in attendance. rolled over 102k today or early tomorrow!! If memory serves, he said he did the initial SC mod at 72k miles....

If you see a filthy GXP without plates roll in tomorrow, early afternoon, that would be me. I'm really hoping it's sunny down there; it's been non-stop thunderstorms all the way from California.

Skyline Drive in Canon City is a gotta do if you are in the area. Spent the night in Leadville, and will be checking into the Omni this afternoon, as will Cpt_kludge and Aspenrose.
