Denver Metro Area. But, the hotel is between Denver, and Boulder, so we can hit the mountains without dealing with all of the Denver traffic. But, if you want to make the downtown club scene, it is only 15 minutes from the Omni.

The East Coast Caravan Contingent (ECCC) got formed in the Wilmington parking lot last Saturday. Did anyone notice that the NASSM website is missing a Solstice? We need a Solstice. Amelia sure was purty when she was new...

Yes, but since it is still under construction, I'm sure Badi_Dea has not gotten to it yet.

I saw that. I guess my hint was too blatant. But if Badi_Dea needs a Solstice, feel free to use this Rocky Mountain pic.

Thought you might find this amusing, my hubby really hates the car, he is 6'1ish and says it kills his back etc. So I offered to fly him out there to join this fun weekend but he has decided that he will drive his bug and follow me.........apparently he lived there at one time and wants to show me around some areas that I would not take the Sky (gravel roads) what the heck is out on gravel roads that I would want to see? My suggestion was still fly him out there and maybe rent a car for a day and go where he wants. Either way still going to cost more money. Maybe I can send him UPS..........LOL

Here's where I was in '06, heading down the gravel road to Mono Lake. Mono lake has calcified springs that were once completely under water until the '70's when the City of Los Angeles started siphoning the lake for their use.

Lots of reasons to head WEST!

I left the 17th, and just got into Texas when the cell phone rang, and had to turn around and head back to Michigan. Needless to say, I drove 2419.7 miles towards the LV Nationals, only to never arrive.

Last year I didn't even get to leave town...daughter had the grandson the week I was to leave, so I can feel your pain.

Better luck with Denver next year. It must have been going through Texas that got you in trouble.
