Step one: Click on Event registration and fill it out completely
Once you fill it out and complete the pay pal section you will have access to all hotel accomodations, runs etc,.
NOTE when it prompts you for a password.
YOU CREATE YOUR OWN...it is not assigned...that way you don't forget it
also..a message will come to you advising all your registration information.
REMEMBER- you must register to activate your USERID and password.
After you are registered you will have access to all the sub sets where you can make your hotel reservations and book your room etc.
The runs sign up is a 2-step process. First you select your Thursday and Friday runs.
The click UPDATE...then it will take you to the runs and you can choose the time you want.
If You have Questions to be asked before you register just go to the General information Tab and fill out a form...we'll get right back to you.
You could ask it here too if you think the question is valuable to ALL registrants and not just your personal case.

Where is or which hotel will the primary events be held at, i.e. vendors, car show, auto x?
From what I can tell by reading the Home page, there are five (5) Hotels in a group, with different pricing, and they are all really close to the EVENT.

The distance between the five hotels is less than 200 yards.
That are all located at the top of a hill just off I 77.
If you go to the accommodations page: NASSM 2010 - Canton Ohio - June 10-13 2010
Click on the [click for aerial view] link and you can
see the actual layout.
All the runs will be staged on the ramp leading up to the hotels
and vendors and the car show will be in common locations around
the hotel area to give them access to hotel facilities.
The Autox event will be off site we are currently making those
arrangements.

As a Road Captain Volunteer, I assume I should NOT register for any of the runs????
Or do we need to sign up for the runs anyway to keep the headcounts accurate?
Thanks!

The lists were established NOT including a Road Captain.
Therefore if there are 8 spots to be filled...#9 is the road captain.
The sweeper "may" be designated by the
RC.
Once they start filling up we may have to make a call on that.
It will be tough enough getting 25++ RC's as well as getting sweepers
So...Diane...you are correct ...you should not sign up for the runs...but we need to find a way to keep a master of who is doing which run (that'll be my job)

When I registered I selected I needed two XL shirts, but do we need to order on the NASSM 2010 - Canton Ohio - June 10-13 2010
You have two colors listed there and we prefer the red ones.

So if you have a preference let me know
This now leads to my next question. Since I didn't select a run and proceed to step 2, I'm not sure how people are selecting which group they want to run with. I assume at this point that it is just based on starting time? Will you be listing the RCs for each group so that folks can specifically pick the RC they want to run with, or do you want the groups to fill up randomly and then you will later designate the RCs?
I'm just wondering if some people might want to pick their RC, based on experience running with that person before, personal preferences, etc. This might also help the RCs with designating an appropriate sweeper, as the prospective sweeper would know which group to sign up for.

All very good points.
#1...we can't pre-assign RC's because, although we have a lot of people I hope to count on...we have a lot of gaps too.
So...let me say that..as a Road Captain......you could select your "TIME" each day and then i would ask Mark if he could put your name in there somehow.
That way you would be "confirmed" as RC for Group x (either clock wise or CCW) for a specific time each day. Then people would see that and know which group to sign up for.
This is really good feedback.
But...until others come forward and "dedicate" themselves to a run and a time we can't do it "carte blanche".

The T-Shirt size information on Registration Step 1 is for Door Prize info purposes. You still need to make your purchases on the merchandise page.
We'll make that more clear so there is less confusion!
Thanks!!!
