George without a few turns around the course i'd be happier if you swept a middling aggressive group
I would not mind at all sweeping for an easy or middling group to help in this event if Jenny and I can make it. You must ensure group leaders have the 'turns' behind them not serpents in front or beside of them. There I go, speaking in tongues
I'd rather sweep and I know T2TR better than the other routes, but I will help out wherever you need me.

I will state my intentions here in case they were missed on another thread.
I am formally withdrawing as RC or "pathfinder" at this point for 2010. I am in a no-win situation. If I make maps and someone gets hurt for whatever reason, some would say i was responsible because i pledged to make the maps as safe as possible and did not. If i train RC's and someone gets hurt while being lead by an RC I "trained" then I failed to provide proper training.
This is not sticking my head in the sand. This is understanding the situation at hand and the stages of grieving. People are in the anger stage now, seeking answers and wanting to "do something" to give a loss and tragedy some meaning (even if it lashes out at people who had nothing to do with the situation). Given that, all discussions of 2010 should be placed on hold for now in my opinion and any perceived commitments to 2010 on my part are suspended and no one should presume that i will return to any open event.
I have made many friends in here (some quite recent that provided moral support) and hope to have more good times with them in the future. That doesn't mean the interaction would be "open events".

We will certainly do it in October. I am just hoping to take advantage of being in the area. It is also an opportunity to do an advance test of the route.
I built the route in MapSource in about 30 minutes from the notes that Mark sent to me. Mapsource agreed with Map Quest to within 1/4 mile, so I am pretty confident about the routing.
I would like to have a video done before October so that we can predrive the run on the computer and then immediately see how effective it is as a training tool.
