2012 North American Solstice and Sky Meet – Tips & Tricks/ Do’s & Don’ts
Hey!
This will be my first experience going to Nationals. I am looking for some tips from those of you that have gone previously. Things that work well and things that don’t (besides packing light…). In other words, lessons learned.

#1 Put your Location in your Forum Information....makes it easier to hook up with someone when they know where your leaving from.
#2 Arrive early with a FULL tank for everything!!!
#3 If you are going on Runs, lock them in and get your Radio now.
#4 If you have the extra time...a Bucket List drive 'Tail of the Dragon' is just a short drive away and you would want to cross that one off.
Get your dream mods done while you are there. With DDM and JPM on sight it is a great opportunity. When I went to the Nationals in Canton 2010 I had JPM do a couple of things for me. I loved the work so much that I did a road trip from Toronto to Temple, GA to have JPM do more.

Can someone explain to me the usefulness of villas vs. just a plane room, since most of us are coming in couples, in roadsters? Doesn't seem like it's worth it for the kitchen and extra space... (OK, you could host a rave with all that space..)

Wow, I just noticed that GypsySky. We bought our Sol in June and had somebody honk and wave at us somewhere out north on that day driving the same color Sky as yours. Perhaps it was you!

GypsySky, We are going to meet up with the Michigan Kappa Club members (probably on I-75 near Lima, OH) to drive down on Monday. Maybe you could join us.

Well we are all like next door neighbors. I live in Portland.

Villas have a full kitchen and are like an apartment. They also have fireplaces and were recently refurbished. For two couples, these are the best bang for the buck. Take a tour here,
