2017 NASSAM National Car Count

It is now just 90 days form the beginning of the 2107 NASSAM meet in Lexington Ky. As of this writing we already have 61 cars registered for the event and the count is growing. We are in the process of getting more of the event schedule in order and hope to soon be able to start posting some of the runs and other activities we will be offering. As with all of these meets we are still asking for volunteers to lead runs and we thank the ones of you who have already signed up to do so.

If you are not aware the links to the event are here;

Registration is here: NASSAM 2017 - June 18-24 2017

The event page is here: https://kappasinkentucky.wordpress.com/home/

Make sure to go to the "Contact" link and fill out as much as you can to help out in planning and if you wish to help in leading a run go to the "Leaders" tab and sign up there.

Any questions please contact me here or use the link on the event page.

Hope you can make it. Look forward to meeting you in person. Will you have the EDAG top on? I am going to be there on the Wednesday and Thursday.

Yes, I have a room reserved for Wednesday & Thursday.

Plan on putting the EDAG back on the car later this week.

Have not paid my fee yet. Waiting to see what the Doc has to say on April 11th.

Certainly hope to be there. I am in Northern Georgia right now taking care of final parents estate issues. I can sit and drive. Walking is painful, can't lift anything heavy. Gonna have to have a couple of neighbors put the EDAG on the car for me!

This much for certain, the "EDAG" is something in-and-around and possibly has to do with the Targa top. But beyond that, I have no idea what an "EDAG" might be. I sure would like to know though as that might be something of interest.

See that "magnifying glass" icon way up there on the right side of the menu line? Use it to search for EDAG and you will find out quite quickly what an EDAG top is, and what it looks like.

I'd do it for you, but I'm tired of doing everyone else's searches for them.

Holy cow! Everyday is a school day! I saw that car just a couple of weeks ago and copied a photo for my stash.

Thanks, Dave. I wasn't aware of the "magnifying glass" icon's function. Now I won't forget. That suggestion will be very helpful and is much appreciated. Bill

I'm glad you approached that remark the "right" way. I was on my 1st generation iPad, which is starting a downward spiral into complete deadness, and I have never bothered to figure out how to cut and paste with any degree of accuracy, probably a case of fumble fingers . . .

Now that I'm back on my other machine with a keyboard and a mouse, thing are much easier . . .

You might want to look into coming to the National in Lexington if you have not already done so. There is sure to be some interesting cars there and you never know what the sneaky Kappa owners have been doing over the winter to there cars.
