Cutoff for lunch orders was June 1 at 5 pm MDT, payment also, so you're on your own for rounding up lunch. The deli is an option, you can do an individual order and they can deliver to the Omni also, just make sure you indicate on your order to deliver at 8:30 am, and put also in the comments Peak 2 Peak run, or NASSM. Energy bars, Slim Jims and Mt Dew, whatever you want to do, but there's only one stop between the Omni & lunch, so food procurement will be limited to 30-45 min tops, in a little town with few options and if you wander off and lose track of time.....

Once all is said and done & tallied up, any overage will be contributed to the NASSM 09 charity of choice on behalf of the Peak to Peak runners

Hit the More Info thread to see what sub-group you are now assigned to.

For the few (one? besides me perhaps??) that did not lose the flag, uhm, I wanted them back. Not cheap, and I have two, the one I started with, and the one mikep77 picked up 3 seconds into the run... If you are local, or I'll see you at a meet this summer, please remember to return it then. If not, mailing it back would be nice. So three? are awol, the fourth I know was lost.

I apologize for not remembering before now, but then again, since the second half was a cluster **** and the only people that actually ran with the group was mine & part of group two, I didn't see anyone but the people that ran the whole run with me at the end. Remembered when I unloaded the car...

I had two American flags in FlagCaddies on part of the run. After parting company with the group to head back to the Omi while tryng to keep up with Cpt-kludge, I lost one of my flags and holders. FlagCaddies are good at 65, but don't hold very well at 80.

Thanks Aspenrose! Awsome run. Carol and I enjoyed every run and this year, it was even more special with our Tune and V-Tuner Update service provided by GMRoadster. Thanks Martin!

You, my friend, are fine-remember what I told you! I don't want $$ for the flags that became separated from the car during the run, I just would like the surviving flag(s) back eventually.

Google "flag caddie". I ordered them on-line.

I was gonna ask you about that. I had mine all the way until just before that last pit stop before the casino. Was told it flew off a few miles before the pit stop. Sorry Mel!

They were really nice flags. I had that thing tightened down pretty well too...or so I thought. They must get loose during the run. Thanks for providing them for ID!

Sorry about the flag loss and also sorry if i was a part of the cluster **** that left the picnic. I popped a broken nose vessel that i have had for a bit and had to scrub some elevation relatively quickly. DaShark was kind enough to lead a group down to lower elevations with me as quickly as possible. Things stabilized at 7000 feet but i had some major bleeds on the journey.

In any case, beautiful route and a great run. Logistically, a nightmare but to be expected with that many cars converging at one time. The high point? The cop at the first stop. Funny stuff. A bit less.. People taking pictures of me with 4 inches of paper towel stuffed up my nose.... The highest point? Old and new friends that assisted on my trip down the mountain...

Ah yes, I'd forgotten about the nosebleed issue in the dry climate-son got a bad one on vacation one year. Thankful that druid and dashark got you down and taken care of!! No apology needed!! Don't recall if ice helps, too late now, but there were two coolers of ice in Lady Fang's chase vehicle.

Just wish I'd gotten to meet you, too many people, so little time!

We did meet. I was walking to my car at the picnic spot with my nose plugged and you said, "we having fun yet?". I said, "always" (my hair is silver. stands out a bit).

The nose bleed did not detract from the fun and/or my attitude about things. Just a small diversion that needed some action..
