Re-run of Peak to Peak on Sunday

The wind was gusting to about 40 mph, it was probably around 40 with the wind chill and as soon as I took the pics with my IPHONE it started snowing. Needless to say the wife was less than happy with the conditions. Of course I was wearing shorts and a T shirt.

It was a beautiful machine, most certainly.

Here are a dozen from P2P on Friday. Some of these are a little blurry due to trying to shoot blind while driving.

Pleasant drive through the park; the camera was seeing more than me at this point.

Yes, my car really is that new.

Coming up to the snowline.

Don't ask me how the timing worked out so well.

Rebellious Californians stopping to enjoy the view.

Rebellious Californians caught by the main groups.

A view from the very top. Proof I was there, unlike the t-shirts bought by certain people which only claim to have been there (you know who you are).

Things live up here?

QUESTION??????With so many of you out in Denver, where are all the pictures and stories? I thank those that posted above, great pictures but I thought there would be many more posting pictures and telling us about the Mods and what ya all did......I feel deprived cause I could not go!! and hoped I could live some of it through all the pictures. I do want to thank Soli and a few others who have been posting on facebook everyday with a picture or 2, that has been great.

It is likely a combination of fatigue, having lots to go through, edit, resize, post, and having post-vacation things to take care of. Of course there are still a fair number of people still out on the road.

Glad everyone had a great time. Awesome photos!

I took one of your photos Chemist and added the "Tilt-Shift" touch. Only because I am trying to perfect the technique. One of your photos was a perfect candidate for the test. The whole point behind the technique is to give the photo a toy like look and feel.

Enjoy!

That tilt shift technique works pretty well, imaj! Did EXACTLY what you intended.

Pictures are very interesting. for example, Chemist looks a lot taller in person than he does in his sig.
