Thanks to Linda (gbslysol) at SoS, My Sol has a name!! She told me that with the stripes, every time she looked in the rear-view during the run, it looked like a giant ladybug was following them, so Ladybug is the name I've been searching for to call my Sol!
Kim told me you got a GXP, so i came up here to take a look... Nice! Again, glad you are OK, i always see the old "the only important thing is that you are OK" when people get into accidents but it really hits home when you know the person...
...and yes you are crazy to get a new car that quick, either that or just really into cars, which isn't a bad thing at all!
Hey, there is over 10,000 HP in that garage. It ain't hard to over look one or two!
He's also got a 1966 Ford GT40 and a 1966 dodge Coronet Hemi. I didn't want RotaryPowered to think I was trying to rub it in. Besides, something has to balance out that Honda Insight!
That might be closer 100,000 hp, I was wrong about the Toronado, it has 1070 hp.

Hey babes. First off I am happy as you are for you to be alive. You know what saved you was an angel that you have had since you became a sweet Dengel. Yes you do know how to drive and I want to see you back in the drivers seat and hair flying again. The Lord GOD does not give a lot of second chances and you have been blessed by one. Do not squander it and think of what is best for you to do. May you not hurt or ache too much and may the good GOD bless you again and again....Skip....
Diane,
It was great to meet you in Nashville as a member of the Joe's Crab Shack Crew. I just learned of your accident today after reading all these posts on the Forum today. I'm so glad you are OK!!! Also, I really admire your can-do spirit in getting that GXP!
Diane, Skip nailed it. The good Lord has indeed given you a second chance to make the rest of your life count. Just speaking for myself, I've found that finding some way to help others in need is a great way for me to try and pay back The Man Upstairs when he has come through for me. Just a thought.
I look forward to seeing you at a Solstice event down the road, whenever that may be. Prayers already sent. Hug waiting for you the next time we meet.
I am glad to see you made it out of the car ok. This is a fear I have always had with a rag top. Looks like it kept you pretty safe. You can always get a new car. Your safety is the only thing that counts. Glad to see it worked out ok. hope you will be feeling 100-% soon!
WOW!! What a tale this thread doth tell. One of sacrifice, bravery, determination, & community of love.
We're so glad you are OK & back in a Sol, especially a GXP. As you get comfortable w/ it, you'll notice the StabiliTrac giving assistance. Looking forward to gawking at your new ride & seeing your big, warm smile.
