Calendar Solstice is No More

Diane;

I just received my calendar this morning and was looking at your shot.....I'm so glad that you are okay, this is a reminder to all of us to be careful, and also a reminder that this car is amazing in accidents. I'm thankful that all you have is bruising - I can only imagine what went thru your mind during that awful few moments.

Your car has been captured in history in the Solstice Gals calendar.....it served you well.

Hope it doesn't take you too long to get another car!

Diane,
We are so thankful you are okay. I agree with Bob (wartie) about seeing the rescue vehicles go past us as we were leaving the other end of the Dragon. We never even thought it might be for one of our group. Take care, give yourself time to heal and then make your choice on which vehicle to get. In the end it was the sacrifice of the car which saved your life and your life is all that matters. You will remain in our prayers.

I echo everyone else and am very, very relieved to hear that you are OK, especially after seeing the photos. It's a reality check for sure. I'll be lighter on the pedal in the on/off ramps and tight turns now. The cautionary warnings from D2 about T2TR are now going to be taken far more seriously. At 6' 1", I am not sure I would have fared as well as you did.

OMG Diane

From the looks of that accident you are in deed lucky to have gotten out with just a few bumps and bruises. Those pictures are horrible. It looks like there was no space under the car. I'm really glad you got out with no major injuries.

OMG! Diane, I had no idea that it was you. I am so glad to hear that you are ok. Sorry about the car, but that doesn't matter as long as you are ok.

Let me know when you are in town visiting your sister and we'll hook up.

Enjoyed meeting you.

God Bless.

Diane....

as with everyone else I am so glad you escaped unscathed.

Dengel,

So sorry you had to experieince this on the way you did, but an thankful that YOU came out with only small injuries.

I also have found that it takes only a small mistake, at the wrong time, for these cars to perform an unexpected "stunt". My driving has changed since my spin, but it is still in my Sol.

I give God the praise for the minor injuries that you have from this incident!! He was right there beside you during the whole thing.

Crawdad

Best comment so far about my Aggressive Sol, from a driver of a red S2000 in the small town I live near, "I thought I was going to have the coolest car for some time. Now, I know I am wrong!"
