Mike,
I can't say enough about the entire event. Forget about the weather....it didn't matter. From the time we pulled into the hotel until the time we left the experience was fantastic. I hadn't been at the hotel more than 30 seconds, in fact not even out of my car yet, and I was told where two coupes were parked. Two minutes later I'm talking to a fantastic GM Engineer who I consider a friend. 30 seconds later I'm sitting in one of the coupe. How can a weekend go down hill from there. Everything was just fantastic. The UAW tour guides were fantastic, one even remembered my car when it was in for it's "TLC" over the holidays. GM couldn't have treated us any better with their kindness or their generosity. Diana loved the massage and the fascial and thought it was a fantastic "accessory" to the plant tour. Then to top the weekend off you get us in to park our cars around some of the most beautiful aircraft in the world at the Air Force Museum. I just can't say enough. My hat is off to you and all the people who helped you, to GM, to the UAW workers, and to everyone at the Air Force Museum....you all made the weekend so fantastic. By the way, remember to sign me up for next year's tour, just tell me the date so I can put it on my calendar!

Oh My GOODNESS .... what an awesome experience!

Thank YOU GM for partnering with JustMike to make MECCA II one that will be a lifetime memory in so many lives! I know that there was SO much work that was put into this from SO many individuals that we could never begin to remember them all.... but, I would like to single out just a few.
- First and foremost JustMike for having the vision to make this all happen!
- Next Plant Manager Bob Dolan, the Boxwood Plant Staff, and UAW Members who were there to assist and answer questions and were truly happy to have all of us there.
- To Sue: you are an incredible lady! I salute you!
- The Ladies at the raffle table - your smiles and attitude were infectious and very welcoming!
- Waju - our SWE Coordinator - I'd work for you ANY DAY! What an infectious smile and great attitude!
- To ALL the lineworkers who smiled, waved, nodded, thanked us, AND offered us candy from your break table.
This is my 'personal' thanks but as the NASSOA council chair it would also be echoed as well.

Each and every one of you are NOW Kappa Family - you are part of this community and the Skyroadster community too! We continue to reach out others so they too can share in this EXCITEMENT!

At one point I turned to Kevin (sorry I don't recall your last name) - he was running all the video equipment - and said "Pontiac's tag line use to say "Pontiac builds excitement" - now it says "Pontiac is CAR" .... Well, our cars are NOT just CARS .... you here have built that EXCITEMENT, YOU have built this community, YOU have built family!"

THANK YOU GM ... THANK YOU Pontiac .... THANK YOU Saturn!

I had an awesome time at my first MECCA tour. I have never seen so many great car enthusiasts. Big thanks to the organizers. It was great to see friends and meet new people.

The best part of the whole thing was when I was the Materials man in the SWE. That squeaker that I had to squeeze when passing people was hilarious. I leaned a lot about how our cars are manufactured at the plant. Ill be there next year with some surprises hopefully.

A big thanks to Mike for all your help in organizing this. GREAT JOB!

A big thanks to all at GM for a truly memorable and spectacular event. You built our cars, but more importantly you made our dreams come true. As you know, we are passionate about our cars. What is equally obvious to those of us owners who came to the plant is the passion you have for what you do and the pride you take. It was all over your faces. Lots of smiles all day long. Everyone was so eager to be helpful, too. Thank you so much for what you do. You are our heroes!

The entire day was excellent! Thanks to JustMike, everyone at the Boxwood Plant, all the folks from GM, Pontiac and Saturn that came for the event, the UAW and all the wonderful folks at the plant who build this car! I hope they all know how much of an experience it is to own this car--the people, the events, and the opportunities are incredible. A wonderful event!

I just got home and have been AFK the whole time. That said, I had a wonderful time as well. Thanks are definitely in order! Mike did a terrific job helping to get this thing set up. Everyone at the plant was so friendly and open! I really enjoyed the tour, and how excited the workers in the plant were. GM, the UAW, Mike, the plant, and everyone involved deserves a special thank you for allowing this to happen, and allowing myself, and all of us to be a part of it! Also, a special thanks to the engineers who were on hand and allowed me to chew their ears off for a while!

It was definitely one of those once in a lifetime events!

I don’t know where to start. I love seeing how thing are built and put together. The plant tour was one of the best things that my racing career has brought me. To be able to see how this great car was put together and shake the hands of the guys and gals that put their heart and soul into this car was by far a highlight of the day. I feel even more confident in how our solstice will perform when we throw it into full drift at 100 mph.

It was also great meeting all the owners and board members. If it wasnt or you ladies and gentleman buying solstices both my team and the UAW works at the plant would be out of work. I truly thank you for your support and well wishes.

Thanks for the Memories!!

MECCA II was an exceptional event put on by an exceptional team. I can only imagine the amount of planning and work that resulted in a great experience by all.

A lot of people will ask me what I did on my vacation, and I will take the time to tell about the world class event put on by a world class team.

Job well done to all involved.

Kudos especially to Just Mike and all the other folks responsible for putting together a great event. GM plant tour was awesome - plant personnel were exceptional ! The run to the AFB museum was excellent. This was our first Mecca tour and I'm sure it won't be our last. Met lots of great folks and made new friends. Thanks again for a GREAT event.

Gotta love that new "Wicked" color........

Big thanks to JustMike and all those who organized the event from the forum side It was just bigger and better then last year! Great job GM, once again bringing in engineers, marketing people and execs to support the effort. And to the plant management and guys and gals on the line....

Thanks a million!

It was great to be able to crawl all over the coupes and check those out close up. The goody bag given to every attendee was classy and very well done!
