Saturday's Run will start in Connecticut at Mohegan Sun at 10:00 AM (see link above meeting location) - after an hour for Meet & Greet time we'll head up to Massachusetts for lunch at Piccadilly’s in Sturbridge, MA and maybe an hour or so to hit the local the shops? Piccadilly Pub Sturbridge Area Tourist Association
Then we'll continue our Tri-State journey down through Rhode Island with a stop at Arcadia Management Area, Browning Mill Pond Recreation Area lot. RI Parks
And then we'll end up back at Mohegan Sun for the dinner at The Casino of the Sky - Sunburst Buffet leaving some time at the shops, slots or tables your choice. Mohegan Sun - Could You Use Some Sun?
Sunday we'll do breakfast and a run down to the Mystic Area for any who are staying overnight.
And if anyone wants’ to do dinner on Friday night that's a possibility also just leave a PM - Sky07, Ronzer & Skyman-CT will be in the area.

Not enough time to put together as great a package as Skylands Rally or Hudson Valley last year, but it should be a good time for all.
P.S. I haven't seen birdliver in a long time, deluke use to stay in touch with him all the time, I'll have "T' check in with her to see if she can join us too, I know she's selling her Sols but maybe she's up to getting out and about.

Ok, most rates close to the casino are running $200 or more a night so I would suggest the following.
I'd first suggest the Holiday Inn Express in PLAINFIELD, CT (#4 on map) it's only 20 minutes from the casino and closer to Sky07's house with advance booking rates starting at $130/night however if you want to stay closer to casino then I would recommend the Holiday Inn and Suites in NEW LONDON, CT (#2 on map) advance booking rates starting at $190/night

Skyman- looking at the route (and since I've lived in NE CT all my life), instead of going 169 north from woodstock into southbridge, it might be a more interesting ride if we go 169N into woodstock, left on 171, right on 198 which takes us into the center of southbridge. Or even better, 169 to a left on 197S to a right on 198. 197 is fun to drive.
On our way back we could do 169S out of southbridge to 197N to 131. 131 from southbridge to quinnebaug is pretty un-scenic, in my opinion.
I'm trying to make google maps show the route I want, but it's being dumb. It's pretty simple if you look at a map though.
Or you can tell me you know what you're doing and I should butt out.
