Chuckdoc, I'll be starting work on the new spoiler and removal of the old one this weekend. I'll also be doing the headlights, possibly my rear valance and bumper painting. I called the powder coating shop and he said I should be able to pickup my pipes Thursday.

Last weekend we had a send off party for Go-N Def, he's transferring to the "area" next month for a 1yr tour and will be having Solstice withdrawals so we gave him a picture which everyone signed the frame. Thanks to ChuckDoc and Nancy for hosting.

Mike, as my son returns from the "area", you will be arriving. Stay safe, keep your head down, and know that all American's thank you for your selfless sacrifices to keep our nation free. Godspeed, my friend.

It was a lot of fun, as I am still recovering.

I need to touch up my brake calipers and probably will find some time to drive down to Joes, If anyone else wants to touch up theres we can get together and do it pretty quick and maybe do lunch.

Joe, I will be down soon to pick up my old exhaust. Sorry it has taken so long.

Chuck

Every time I drive to MD it costs me time and $$ and within a day or two my Solstice looks different.
Not complaining, but as John said -- it is a way of life.

Rainy day -- you work on your Solstice:

We talked about a battle field cruise this fall at Chuckdoc's so I did a little homework:

Antietam National Battlefield (U.S. National Park Service)

Battle of Antietam - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the Wikipedia ref you will see Perry Jameison's name and his book on Antietam, Perry is a personal friend, Detroiter, and Tiger fan. Had lunch with him yesterday and if he is available he will go with us.

Suggest we think of maybe Sept, but AFTER the 17th. (We can do it again or I'll take when you get back Mike) Also given the size of the park and the road system we really can not easily do more than 8-10 cars.

Thoughts?

I'd like to say thanks to everyone that attended, especially to Chuck & Nancy for hosting and cooking, to Joe for photoshoping the picture together and to Grant for the coin.

Also, the rear brake is holding in place fine. I havent had time to treck up to the dealer yet for a replacement bolt...
