Spiedie Fest 2009 will be July 31st through August 2nd

I have a new cruise route I am looking at for Saturday the 1st.

The car show will be Sunday... if we have enough cars pre-registered, we should ba able to have our own class... register for class 36 though.

Looking forward to those that came before coming again and those that have not been able to join us in years past, to come see the fun that is Spiedie Fest!!!

I'll update this thread with the concerts and such as they are announced.

Less than a month away until this years Spiedie Fest...

Plans are coming together well...

Bands will include the Marshall Tucker Band on Friday... The Veronicas & Sugar Ray on Saturday... and John Michael Montgomery on Sunday.

Car cruise through the hills Saturday... finishing with Dinner and cruise-in.

Car show is again on Sunday... 8am - 3pm.

Bob also had thoughts on a group balloon flight. Thoughts?

Kappa Class all depends on pre-registrations.

I will work with Gabe with the group putting on the show to do one anyway. :-)

Ok, so what are the particulars here? I spoke to someone about this event at MECCA but I can't recall if it was in Binghamton or Syracuse. I need to see how this fits in with Lime Rock which I am committed to (and looking forward to) attending.

Yepper... it was Binghamton, I believe I spoke with you about it at Mecca.

There are a couple of others attending Lime Rock that will be coming in the morning on Saturday.

Plans right now are to have a cruise/run through the hills Saturday afternoon to evening. Dinner and cruise-in in the evening.

Sunday is the car show and other fun at the Spiedie Fest. We meet for breakfast in the morning then head to the show grounds.

lol... it sure will be open. The servers were out there today practicing to skate.

Sonic is fun. I am thinking after the show on Sunday.

Here are the plans everybody:

Saturday: By noon, we will meet in the Wegmans/Hampton Inn Parking lot in Johnson City, NY... they share an entrance. We will leave shortly thereafter for a nice cruise... the weather is supposed to be PERFECT!!!

The route is a bit of a secret... but we will be going north this year, instead of south.

After the cruise. Around 4pm we will have dinner near the cruise night at the Town Square Mall.

The Cruise night ends around 8pm... or dusk.

For those heading down to Jersey for Sunday brunch, let them know I miss them and hope to catch them all on the next one.

Sunday morning we will grab breakfast around 7am at the Spot Diner on Upper Front St.

Roll in to the car show around 8am.

The show will be over around 3pm. We will then head to Sonic for some great drinks... well... good drinks since they don't spike them with anything there.

If you want to go back to the Spiedie Fest after Sonic for the concerts or a balloon ride, you will get a parking pass.

Looks like we will have to miss this year. Just had new kitchen cabinets delivered yesterday so I have some work to do.
