Just 4 more days until I can get a weather prediction.
As for a group run, I found out a little info. All of this can be arranged only while there and speaking with the group officer. I will be there early to ensure that we can go out at 2pm as a group as originally planned. This will allow for everyone to arrive and to get some earlier runs in for those that want to do more than the group run.
I am still hoping to get there in my Fiero. I am having a state inspection done today and have a few repairs I need to do between now and then.
Ex, I saw on the Glen forum you were asking about restaurants. I am not too familiar with what is up there, but you may want to see if the Seneca Lodge's restaurant will be open for business that weekend. Over the years, their bar and restaurant has been a big hangout for all the racing personalities that come to town so it has some history. However, I know it is kind of seasonal too, and am not sure whether it will be open next weekend or not yet.
Also for making runs, I have found out that earlier in the day, and later in the day generally are best. The middle of the day gets a bit crowded, with the most people in line, plus groups staging for runs, and then the 12:30 thing they are doing with the classic racers or whatever it is.

Hi everybody,
We will be in Watkins Glen on Saturday. Where is everyone staying, meeting? maybe for a run? Where do we meet on Sunday? Excelsior, will we have a specific place set aside at the track? What time should we meet? Someplace outside the track so we can all be together when we enter the grounds or just meet up after we get parked on the grounds? Thanks. Can hardly wait. Checking the weather to see if the storm will pass before Sunday
