WPA, OH, WI, MN and others caravan to MECCA

Time to start some planning - 4 weeks and counting until the caravan heads out to Wilmington.

We may have the largest caravan traveling to MECCA!!

Here are those that I know are certain as of right now:

MomsSol
Ex-Miata Man
Warthog
Aspenrose
SunFun
JMS-MES
Solong
--------------------
Possible others:

POTH
SkySpy

XMM has plotted us a nice 'off turnpike' drive thru WV into DE.

Plan at current is to depart the I-79 South Bridgeville Rest Area by 9:30 am (this is subject to change +/- half hour) in order to make DE in time for dinner.

If you will be passing thru the Pittsburgh area on Thursday, MAY 8th and would like to join our caravan just post here!

A caravan sounds like fun.

We may be spending Wednesday night in Ashtabula Ohio but would enjoy traveling with a group of Sols on the way to Wilmington. Is the departure point Bridgeville PA?

Rand McNally shows Ashtabula to Bridgeville 2hours 15 minutes ... I bet you could meet up with Wartie and XMM to head down this direction if you wanted.

Great! Looks like we'll have the biggest caravan pulling into DE for MECCA II.

Just 3 more weeks!

Dan & I may join in, but am waiting to see if the tour is in my future. I have to have surgery on my ankle this Friday, and will be on crutches in a non weight bearing cast for 12 weeks. I can not drive the Solstice, which is darn near killing me, and am not sure if I will physically be able to go on the tour or if the plant would want a gimp in their facility.

We'd be happy to have you join us if you are able!

Sorry to hear about the surgery ... hope everything goes well ... crutches are NA-STY! And that was when I was *much* younger!

Let us know .... our "little" caravan seems to be growing as each day passes!
