KYGXP- assume you have gone over to the Sky forum to pick up any posts there? If you have not already done so, I will post to the Dragon thread on Sky side that the link to register for Dragon is down and to ask members to just post directly on thread if they will attend, and you can then assist with keeping attendees straight until we hear from Lee?

I PM'd Lee about the Sat. dinner and Thurs. Meet and Greet. I am trying to form that up, so we can post registration fees, etc.. Still need to figure out about shirts, etc.. Hopefully Solsticewolf will pop in here sometime soon.

Kim, Toni, thanks for looking after things while I've been unavailable. I'll remove the link to the old site till we can get the new site up. It'll be a source for central info. Fees will be forthcoming when we get the costs for meals and shirts ready.

Of note on the TOTD calendar is a small Mustang rally will be on the Dragon the 28th, coming out of Gatlinburg. We've got plenty of GXP's, Redlines, and a V8 Sky to back us up!

Everyone, if you have registered on the old site and your name is not on the list on the forum, please notify me. We need ACCURATE numbers for the Fontana Meals!!!

We'll have two V8 Sols there. I am almost done with my LS2 conversion. Should be completed in about a month.

Sounds good. Just make sure your suspension stays up to par. The Dragon is more about your cars handling than it's horsepower.

On a whim I drove over to the Dragon yesterday and did a couple of runs, it was awesome. The place was a ghost town, me, an older Miata and a brand new MX5 were the only cars and there were maybe 6 bikes. That's it! No po po only 1 park ranger who wasn't pulling anyone over so we flew thru it. The roads were great, no potholes, no gravel just curvy clear sailing.

Can't wait to do it with the group again.

Jr.

Change in Mission Statement

I've decided to change the benefit for this event from the ACS to combine with the proceeds for KYGXP's meet to go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Next time you do that, YOU NEED TO GIVE ME A CALL, I am always looking for a reason to go up to the Dragon during the week.

Will do Larry. This time it was totally last minute. I just got a wild hair and drove over without even thinking about it. If I had given myself a second to think I probably would have talked myself out of going. So glad I hardly ever think!
