Ok, hotel reservation has been made, registration sent, t-shirts ordered and the check/signed waiver will be in the mail tomorrow. All that's left will be to make arrangements for the dogs and the kitty.
My husband has been trying to talk me into vacationing in this area for awhile now but Dollywood just doesn't do it for me! lol!! THIS event did what he hasn't been able to do for 5+ years! WTG!!
You won't be disappointed! It's an incredible area of the country, not just for the ABUNDANCE of mountain twisties, but also the sheer spectacle of the scenery!

The problem for most people is going back home. Stay away from the tourist traps and just look around. East TN, West N.C. and North Ga. are very pretty and the folks are friendly, I think you'll enjoy it here.

I sent the cash in for me and the waiver last week. I was talking to my brother tonight and he said he wanted to ride along. He is one of those Harley-type guys and I convinced him to ride in something more exciting than the bike.
My question is: do I need to re-register completely, or can I add him as a passenger and just send his $70.00 in? I want to make sure I have my poop in a group before May 28th.

hello,
sounds like a lot of fun. i just got my solstice for my 42nd birthday. i wish i could go this year but the way me and my wifes vacation falls we are going at the end of august to the smokey mountain region. we already have planned on crusing the dragon one day. hopefully if there is another sky/solstice meet at the dragon next year we can attend. hope the weather is good and everbody has a good time.
