The 10 bottled are labelled and will be transported to ToTD.

Your mission is to bring 2 QUALITY glasses (no plastic) for the tastings
would also be nice if you could arrange to pick up a 6 pack of club soda bottles for me too.

Bottles are set in alphabetical order....not by my preference !!!

Oh the pressure.. Quality glasses in the home of a confirmed bachelor? I call those "clean".

In any case, i will bring a few "short glasses" with wide mouths. i prefer Scotch in those.

Now, Club soda? That shall be a hunt for me... hahaha

BTW, there shall be no Scotch tasting during the runs and/or events. Saturday night, no problem.... Any night before will be a 2 Scotch limit.. heh

For the "Going to Fontana" crowd that will be meeting by the dental floss bush... i do properly own and have loaded Frank Zappa's, Over-Night Sensation to my Iphone.

Fair warning, for those that thought me weird before, i will be listening to this all the way to ToTD. If you are in a group with me on the Walkie headed to the Dragon, you may hear me say on the walkie "I'm ridin' a tiny hoss (his name is Mighty Little)". Ignore the insanity as usual and thank god that i wasn't quoting from the other songs on that album.

For the group meeting by the dental floss bush.. So many good lyrics..

We have 10 2 oz bottles (so that's a one-oz drink for each of us)
We have 4 nights to cover the tasting.
If we taste 2 on wed...2 on thurs. 3 on friday (before zipday) and 3 on saturday ..we can handle it

Oh man, I just got my Solstice GXP. Had a Mini for 4 years and never had a chance to ride the dragon with it. I have time this year and I sold it....LOL Maybe I should have gotten the Sol a couple of weeks earlier.

Maybe someone will cancel?

I am packing tonight, since we are leaving Saturday morning and taking a few days to drive down and sightsee.

Since we need to take a complete week of clothing (and still leave room for the wife to go shopping), I was wondering what other people are planning to wear for the Saturday night banquet?

A few suggestions for KAPPA road trips.

Pack two changes of light weight, easy to dry clothes like gym shorts and tee shirts preferably wore out and with holes.

Foot wear should be wore out flip flops, the 'pumps from hell' I bought for the funeral, moccasin's or easy to part with loafers, even bedroom slippers.

Undergarments, if you wear them, should similarly be shot in the elastic and bras need to uncomfortable, totally out of style or bullet models with moth holes in the .

As you travel, leave(discard) various unwanted articles of clothing and foot wear in places like the room safe, the room fridge, at the gas pumps or on store shelves. Remember, you are out of town, nobody knows you from Adam's house cat and if you pay for lunch in cash, leaving panties as a tip is not out of the question.

As the unwanted wardrobe is depleted, various articles may be updated at the outlet malls and local specialty stores like Goodwill or Salvation Army.

After you have rid yourself of that tacky worn out stuff you would never be caught dead in your hometown, time to shop some more and have fun in the 'adult' clothing stores.

Remember, you ain't frum round here

soon

Midnight run

Just wondering--Looking at the website, I noticed a small discrepancy--is the midnight run scheduled for Saturday or August 5th? They don't coincide this year.
