I am still on the bubble

I have several commitments in August..including this one.
I have already volunteered my services as RC also (if still needed)

BUT...I am still major unemployed and $$$ is a major issue too.
Denver cost more than i could afford.

Can you give me till Monday the 6th to determine if my bankbook can support the gas..food...room and misc. ???

Druid,
Hope you can make it, it wouldn't be the same without you. Just remember what happened to Kim JR when she couldn't come to T2TR this year. Who know's what will happen if you're not there.......

I just checked with Fontana and because I paid one night in advance
I'm only on the hook for $250.00 for the room.
This is good

Now...the only other consideration is gas and meals (I can handle that)
and the registration fee.

If my DEAR friend Kimmie will allow me to put that charge on my JULY Visa
statement (next Monday)...or mail a check dated in JULY

THEN I"M IN!!!

OK...as some of you know...I have 2 things going on that week and both are work related.

First off, we are starting an equipment install next week for a new product. The robotic equipment is scheduled to start up the same week I'm supposed to be going to ToTD. There have been a few other issues and I was hoping the date may change, but so far...everything is on schedule. Now if the start-up goes very well, and it should, I won't have to work that weekend.

Second issue, my summer intern gives his final presentation that Thursday. And I really need to be there for him since I'm his supervisor. However, that will be done by about 1:00 pm. So I'm seriously considering flying out afterwards so I can be there Thursday evening and not miss out on too much fun.

Unfortunately, I gotta see how it all shakes out.

Hey SEM worked out last year...this will too somehow!

I got trucks on a milk run to deal with which means we will be lucky to get away after work Wednesday.
At least I have a job that may even delay us leaving to 1PM Thursday

Potentially good news! Saw the project start-up schedule yesterday and production is not scheduled for that Saturday or Sunday. Now I just need to figure out a way out of that Friday and I'm set!!!

It's looking better for me!!!

I have updated the Dragon Website and I have added a Saturday Run for those who might want to join....

I have found a Zip Line Company and SkyhighNY and myself will be going and would love to have a few more to join us.... I am afraid of heights and I will be testing my limits but I am willing to try......

General Admission Ticket - $89 + Tax

Wahoo Ziplines is unique to the Smoky Mountains, with no other zipline of this magnitude in the surrounding area. With over 2 miles of cable, the zipline is split into 6 signature lines from 900 to 1600 feet long and from 40 to 250 feet in the air! Each line will amaze you as you soar through the mountains, taking in the panoramic scenery, and feeling like you're flying. This adrenaline pumping adventure takes place over 80 acres in the shadow of the Great Smoky Mountains. Come prepared to spend the next 2 hours of your life zipping, flying, soaring, and bouncing through the canopy of the trees at speeds of 40 MPH. Safety is our main concern. To ensure the safety of our guests, all of our guides have undergone rigorous training and each has been certified through Universal Zipline Technology (UZT).Each tour consists of riding our 6 very unique ziplines. Participants wear gloves, helmet, and a harness with a carbineer that is attached to a pulley that will be placed on a cable strung between platforms. You push off the platform and zip along the cable going from hilltop to hilltop. You will be anywhere from 40-250 feet off the ground and, literally, flying between the trees at a height where birds and other wildlife hang out on the branches. Getting started, First, the experience will include some 'how to' information plus a safety briefing. You will see how we put on the harness, latch into the cable. After you learn the basics and watch a demonstration, you will get your chance to participate in a once in a lifetime adventure.

I would like to try the zip line thing. I have 4 bones I haven't broken yet and this would be a great opportunity to complete the job.
