We were there today @ 1 p.m. and they had already had 200 riders!
Only down side is the "not being able to drink in the river, have to drive some more twisties in the mountains, and see a view that's more panoramic than a postcard could ever be!"

I still have room here at my house overnight on Tues for those that dont want to drive all in one day.... We will leave my house here in Frankfort about 9:00am on Weds and will arrive at Fontana around 1-2 in the afternoon....

For those of you that would like to enter the map information in your garmin please follow this link...... Everycar will have maps of the run they will be assigned to.
We are doing something different this year as we will have one group go on the Dragon first then to the SkyWay and another group doing the SkyWay first then to the Dragon. This way we will pass each other.... Here is the list of the Lead Cars with the route listed....

I am not going to post what group you are in as that is still in the planing stages.
Lead Cars will decide with their group on any photo stops and on where to lunch. The total trip without any stops is about 4 and 1/2 hours. The group will be leaving the General Store starting at 8:00 am with the last group leaving about 9:00 am. ( With exception for the Devils Triangle which will leave out from the Wildwood Grill at 8:00am)
The reason for the early departure is so that if you want to run the Dragon again or drive Hellbender or if you want to wash your car will will have time before the Group Photo.

I am coming alone and I am a RC as a favor to S-wolf.
I have no navigator at this time.
So I respectfully ask that someone who has done the roads
before and is familiar with the course drive in the #2 spot and handle the general radio instructions and monitor the chatter
Also...having a seasoned #2 means that should I attempt to make a wrong turn the #2 car will alert me to that immediately and we will not go off down some wrong road.
