Departure time 9 AM
Leave Fontana Village turn right on 28 and take it to 19 &74. Turn left and go about 2 miles to where 28 picks up on the right.
Follow 28 into Franklin and meet up with US 64. we'll take that thru the highlands and will stay on US 64. to 215 just before Brevard. turn left and take that North to the blue ridge parkway. Take BRP to cherokee and turn left onto 441 for about 2 miles and we'll turn right onto US 19 and take that back to 28 and turn right back to Fontana Village.
It's very pretty with lots of waterfalls. at one point Bridal Veil falls. You can drive under the falls and get pictures and not get wet. The road goes behind the falls.

If you ever wanted to play in the big hills on twistie roads, here's your chance. COME ON DOWN or up or whatever. This run will change your sense of direction anyway.
BUMP !!! Think about bringing walkie talkies ,so that we can communicate between the cars. I have an extra that the sweeper could use. That way if someone has a problem or needs a restroom stop we'll be aware of it. That's just a thought, let me know what you think about it.
