Sol sighting.....

I am curious to the owner of the MEAN GXP that was heading West on 485 today around 2:30... I hardly ever get to see another Sol in my area and then to see a MEAN GXP today....WOW

Not a highjack..

just adding some sightings. I recently moved a tremendous 10 1/2 miles south of my former location and have sighted some Solsti here in Clayton, NC. There was a yellow one in the parking lot of Lowe's Foods on US 70 in Clayton last week and a Sly on Covered Bridge road north of there. Any of those owners on here? A more distant sighting...I was watching a show on the History channel about the Big Island of Hawaii and the volcanos that made it, when I caught a glimpse of a silver (Sly, I think) Solstice tooling down one of the boulevards. It may have been some stock footage, but it is neat to think one of our bunch has been immortalized on film on the History Channel. Shame about the front license plate required there, but does it belong to someone here?

I was driving BABY.

Didn't see any on Ohau and Maui the whole time we were there, not even on Hana Hwy.

Prolly

That was probably me. I am drawing a blank trying to remember where 40 and 540 intersect...NEAR THE AIRPORT...of course! That was just one of my "gotta get out and drive" trips. I think I was checking the mileage to the airport, comparing the 540 way to the I40 way. I have seen only one other Envious in this area, and he has a black convertible top, instead of tan. 'Course, I travel top down every chance I get, so that does not help. (The front grilles on mine are dark metallic gray with Envious background, which is a bit different from the brushed metal or black stock colors.) I do think a headlight flash is appropriate, but often pass by before I get my hand to the switch!

Another sighting or two. Here on the "Down East" side of Raleigh, I have seen a Mysterious on Hodge road a couple of times, and a red/nightside on New Hope Road several times. I have waved and "lit" several times to the red one, but it is driven by a female and she may be misinterpreting my intentions. So she is probably not on this forum!

I pulled in the Y where I work out last night and WOW there was a silver Solstice parked there. I was so excited to see it. I saw that it had a Carmax sticker on the back. I walked over to it and then when into the gym. I looked around for someone who I thought could be the Sol owner but I couldn't pin point who that would be. I told my husband about it and he just shook his head. He can't understand all the fuss.... I said "yes, I imagine that if you went into the parking lot and saw a car like yours....NBD....."

Sky in the Original.

I spotted a SKY, looked black eastbound on US 264 east of the orginal Washington, Little Washington to us locals. Was in BEAST and did not recognize it in time to "wag" a hello.

Hi I'm in Chicago and I saw a Deep Blue with a fire figther sticker in the window this morning parked with flashers on the corner of Canal and Roosevelt Rd. My Brazen is about 2 weeks out now, I tried to lag around to see who would get in it but I had no time to wait. I was to go up to them and say hi and maybe spark up a SoLful conversation.

Right in my backyard...almost....

Saw a black Sol going right past my house both Saturday and Sunday. Must be someone new in the area. They waved but I could not really see who was driving.... Welcome to the area!!!!!
