Why not over labor day weekend? Better possibility to get a bigger croud.

Either way I would attend. I just prefer it be over the weekend. Nashville was a blast this year. Natural Bridge is beautiful area.

Labor Day Weekend is so busy with people traveling and also family time. The dates that we are looking at, Thurs, Fri, Sat and travel home on Sun.

Also this is being planned for late summer of 2008

I just wanted to make sure everyone realized that this is next year. Please PM me if you have questions. Thank you to everyone this is going to be a great run......

As I have new information I will post more details, right now I am focusing on the Hotel and a few Sponsors. The dates could possibly change depending on the hotel.

1. We need as low $ as possible
2. We need to have parking together (Nashville was great)

After I receive more info from the Hotel I will post and we all can decide together which one to go with...

Kim, thanks for working so hard to make this meet a reality. I wish I could attend the National in Vegas but it is just too far.

Your meet removes the sorrow from not being able to go to Vagas.

Kim, thanks for the e-mail on this. You can count my wife and I in as she has never seen this part of the country - she is a Phoenix Native. I lived in Ohio, Michigan and love good old Kentucky. I'm glad you didn't get blasted as I did when I posted negative thread on Vegas. I thought I was the anti-Christ.

Thanks to everyone... Support on this has been great..... Kentucky is wonderful in late summer early spring. I am receiving bids already on the hotel.... One thing I told them was that we had to have seperate parking together and so far every hotel has said ok and even thrown in a car wash station everyday for our use.

I have not heard back from the lodge at Natural Bridge yet and that is the one that I am hoping for. The other hotels are in Lexington which is about 1 1/2 hour away. After I get more bids I will post for us to choose. So far 1 year and 1 month out we already have almost 20 cars.... At this rate we are in for a great run.....
