Those of you who are interested in doing the garage door opener mod, this is the opener for a Genie intellicode opener which uses a 12v battery.
Spare remotes can be ordered from this site cheaper than getting them in your home improvement store.

Genie Intellicode GIT-1 Gate or Garage Door Opener Remote Transmitter - Garage Door Openers at Marwest Access Controls

This opener can be used on multiple garage doors. Remember, the remote is just a transmitter. Once it's code is saved in your garage door opener, it will function no matter how you provide the 12v source. No more having to worry about the battery going dead on your remote.

Joe, put me down for Wolfdogs detail clinic. I'm going to check my garage opener tonight to see what type battery is uses.

Wolfdogs had to cancel. Dark Tech will hold the detail clinic. He is very experienced in the buffer and detailing since Go-N Def was his mentor.
