Update on the tinting. Price is $70.00 a car and we'll have to drive to their workshop. It should only be about 2 miles. They need a dust free environment to install the tint properly. I'll get more details Monday.

I just thought of one question, when you get your windows tinted are you not suppose to keep those windows up for a certain period of time???? It has been years since I had windows tinted but I rememer it was several days. Reason being we are doing some pictures with the cars and do not want the windows up???? So what is the time line? Might have to do pictures before hand.....

That is a good question either Deepbluegxp or myself will call him and will post the answer... I know when we tinted the cobra & I belive we were told that we could row down the window but only once or twice.

I was thinking the same thing, because I had mine up for 3 days after they were tinted. I was hoping that the tinting was going to be done on Sat afternoon, or Sun AM. If not, then tops will be up (if rear window gets tint).

It is three days for the side windows only, they don't want the movement of the window to peel the tint while the adhesive cures. This doesn't apply to the rear window since it doesn't physically move. And when it is stowed there isn't anything touching the glass. So regardless of the convertible top position, the tine on that will be fine. If you are getting tint, I recommend a piece of tape over the controls as a reminder not to use the buttons. You will have to open you doors to raise or lower the top.
