Do you have any information you would like to add about the runs you are planning? I have only put basic info in hopes that we will get a few people to step up for leaders and sweepers..... Looks like I might be leading one....
Thanks for your help........
Let me know when the weather gets better we will start some fun runs.... Sundays are best for me.... Just let me know....
The Red River Gorge run is about a 170 mile round trip. 70 miles each way is a mixture of 2-lane highway and seriously twisted back roads. Then there is the very scenic, and fairly twisty, road around the National Forest that is another 30 miles and goes through the Nada Tunnel. The tunnel is one lane and hand dug, more of a cave really. It is quite a unique experience. Along the way we will stop at a couple of scenic overlooks.
The Bourbon Trail run will include a drive through the Kentucky River Palisades for a dose of twisties, then visits to Woodford Reserve and Wild Turkey distilleries for tours and a bit of tasting.
The Eastern Winery tour will include a variety of back country driving and visits, with optional tasting, at Equus Run and Lover's Leap Wineries.
The Southern Winery tour will include a drive down the twisties to the Valley View Ferry, and a ride across the river. The 3-car ferry is the oldest continuously operating business in Kentucky. We will then visit Acres O Land and Chateau du Vieux Corbeaux Wineries.
The KY227 run is going to be at least a 150 mile run, with about 25 miles of continuous turns as the centerpiece. This is the run for the hot-shoes in the crowd, and we may even run the twistiest part a few extra times, just for fun.
A lot of the run details are still being worked out of course.

Cool stuff! How about a Dragon run? How far would that be? Also, when will the runs be? Fri, Sat, both? Thanks
Thanks for the questions...... The Dragon is about 5 hours away so that is a little far to drive. I had wanted to throw that one in but 5 hours there and 2 hours driving the Dragon and 5 hours back.... Thats a little long..... As far as the runs. I will try to answer the best I can....
Wed:
Depending on how many are coming in early I will try to put together a Run maybe up 227 which belive me is like a mini dragon. The posted limit is faster than most people can drive it.... It is great.... Very twistie...... I am working on Dinner plans for the early people as well... I am taking off the entire week so early birds I am willing to help your sightseeing plans..
Thurs:
Registration and the Meet and Greet..... No runs planned but I will have copies of the area maps for maybe a self guided tour of some Horse Farms and such....
Fri:
Runs planned for most of the Day
Sat:
The same runs, The Mod Contest, Detail Clinics, Mod Clinic and the Window Tinting
the times depend on how many sign up for these
Sun:
Runs again will be offered as needed. Most people traveling home.
There will be a Group Photo thrown in either Fri or Sat...
We are planning on 5 runs to choose from, but again it depends on if we can get lead / sweepers and also how many people sign up.
We will be having planning runs startin soon and I hope we can get some volunteers.

I have been sick and missed work since last Tuesday. I'm going back today and should have the logo finished this evening. Will post it as soon as it's approved. Sorry for the delay but it couldn't be helped.
I wanted to give everyone a peek at the Kentucky Basket that I am Donating to the Meet. This basket is not complete and everything in it is made in Kentucky. There is even "Bourbon Jelly"...... The Blue Bottle is Wine from the Elk Creek Winery and is named "Kentucky Blue".... The large Bourbon Bottle is "Buffalo Trace" and there is a Mini Bottle from every Bourbon Maker in Kentucky.....
Remember that there is more stuff to be added this is just a peek...... Kim
Another pic: Showing how the doorprizes and Goodies are taking over my front living room..... This is not everything and I am receiving stuff everyday..... I am expecting some cleaner kits from "Rag Top" and other items some of which I am keeping as a surprize....
Location: Checking out the new sway bar in my Sol!
