there are nice bathroom facilities at the start of the trail up to the dome. so thats not a problem. now making up the trail is a different story. me and the wife had to stop 3 times before we made it to the top.

you are right about the stuff you buy. between the clothes and bathroom stuff the wife HAD to take there wasn't much room left in the trunk for souviners. the good thing about shipping stuff home is you don't have to pay TN sales tax. someplaces offer free shipping depending on what you are buying. i did notice when we were down there that eating has become very expensive.

ChiliSky, Jrsno1fan and Myself are looking for a couple of people to act as a Welcoming Commitee. I have asked bryan1969 and wife to help and we need a couple more. We want to make sure that the newbies joining us at the Dragon are Welcomed and introduced to a few people. No babysitting just getting them off to a great start. If you would like to volunteer to help out or if you have any suggestions. Please let us know.....

Hello - Yes, this is Tristie (smile). Bryan left me unattended (smile again). I can certainly act as the welcoming committee and introduce everyone to several fine people. Great start, they will want to come back every time with our hospitality! I need a co pilot in case Bryan is lost socializing. Can we speed the months up for the fun to come?

This is not an extra event but a game we will be playing while we're at the dragon. A photo scavenger hunt!!
Everyone will be given a list at check in of the items and point values for each item. There will also be bonus items. Here's an example:
Photo of a THP officer 10 points
Photo of you and the THP officer 25 bonus points
The person with the most points after Saturdays runs will win a big prize. You must have a digital camera with a memory card so that the photos can be downloaded. Some of the best photos will be used in a slideshow to be shown at the dinner Saturday night.
