JPM will be making a special trip out to California in order to do an interior install on site. Originally, we had planned on just flying in and out but a number of members at the national meet were interested in getting a group together and doing a mod day.
For those that don't know, DDM Works and JPM Coachworks have been holding mod meets in the eastern half of the US a few times a year. It gives club members a chance to have items professionally installed by us instead of relying on a local shop that might not be familiar with the product. In the case of JPM products, it lets us modify your car on the spot without you having to ship panels back and forth or worry about damaging your interior
Mod meets typically last all weekend (Fri-Sun) and are held at a club members house with a decent size driveway and garage or at a local shop that is willing to volunteer their space for the weekend. In the past, we've accomplished everything from simple console covers to full interiors.
As a bonus, we normally do not charge for installation of any product while we are there.
As you can imagine, it costs a good bit to haul a shop from one coast to the other so we would love to see how many of you all would be interested in attending and/or participating in the mod day.
at the moment, we are contemplating dates in either late September or middle to late October and holding the meed in the central section of California. I'm not sure what DDM's calendar looks like so I can't say for sure if they will be there but I know they expressed great interest.
I would be QUITE interested... Take a look @ a map and pick a general vicinity of where you would like the meet. If I were you I would try to set up either southern or northern california for your destination. We are pretty much two different states anyways! Even doing something in Ventura/ Santa Barbara would be pretty hard since it would be a long drive for northern or southern Cali. If you choose to do So Cal, let me know and we can set it up @ my place in FONTANA. I live on a culdesac and can arrange it w/ the neighbors to have the majority of it sectioned off for us if you would like... oh yeah, and I have a pool!
In Fontana we can pull from the Greater LA area as well as San Diego.

I've been waiting for something like this, thank you for the offer! I am definitely interested. I live in Southern California, LA area to be exact. While my driveway can only accommodate 4 cars (dilemmas of hillside living), I may be able to secure my in-laws shop with could easily accommodate a dozen cars inside and another 12 or so on the street. I would like to cover my dash, the pillars including both visors and the back panel (directly behind the seats)

I'm currently waiting on DDM to fill me in on their availability. If they opt out, I will tentatively set a mod weekend of September 17th-20th or November 6-8 depending on when is convenient for the most people. I'll most likely set up a poll to figure out where the most people would be and when.

Just heard from the sky side that the hearst castle run is the september weekend I chose. That means the date would more than likely be the november one.
The one in DFW area was awesome!!! Thank you guys so much for coming over and setting up. You both do such great work.

Is that Nov date right around SEMA? Would that mean a SEMA / Mod Meet road trip would be feasible?
