California’s Dragon Tail 35 miles of twisties 222 turns 0 to 5000 feet all on one road just outside of Ojai Calif.
I was thinking we could set this up for Saturday,June 21.
Let me know if yer interested.
Wow! This sounds like a terrific event. It actually is a part of the drive that we did in March of 2007 when we looped out from Pine Mountain Club through the San Francisquito Canyon out through the area just north of Ojai and back to Pine Mountain Club.
When we set our schedule back in Febuary, we planned to visit the Rim of the World on Saturday June 21. I would love to have this California's Dragon Tail drive drop into our July time slot on Saturday July 12.
Would it be OK if we moved California's Dragon Tail to July 12?
Our WCKCC event for Saturday June 21 is listed here...

To tell you the truth, I wasn't planning this as a WCKCC event, but if you want to make it that, it's fine witn me.
All I was planning was a run "up the mountain" and back.
I've found that there isn't a lot of "planned rides" close around here for the Ventura County folks,
and was trying to stir up some intrests,
and maybe start having monthly / weekly runs and or meets.

Sounds great!! I've got it listed in the events calendar. July 12 it is!
You do have a point, there have been too few in the Ventura area, so I guess we'll need to have more. Sounds like you're just the person to help with that.
Could someone post up a google map of the run or something? I have friends in Ventura, so it's very likely I could have my wife and kid visit them while I take this run (you have no idea how much this greatly increases my chances of going! )
