We have driven this piece of road before, and it was wonderful.

Just over a year ago, we took this road as part of our Pine Mountain Club, San Francisquito Dam via Ojai loop drive.

Here's the old thread: WCKCC So Cal Meet at Pine Mountain Club March 24/25

This drive is a lot of fun, and there is a BBQ place up in Pine Mountain Club: Barbecue restaurant, baby back ribs. Pine Mountain Club, CA

That's where we had dinner in March of 2007. It was very good.

Bottom line, this will be a great drive.

Here's the Google Map of our drive: from:Pine Mountain Club, CA to:Frazier Park to:Lincoln Crest, CA to:Green Valley, Los Angeles County, CA to:Saugus Cafe for Lunch to:Ojai, CA to:Pine Mountain Club, CA - Google Maps

CDT July 12

I'm definitely interested in making this Run with fellow KAPPA owners. I made it June 6th from where Rt#33 splits off Rt# 166 E. of Cuyama, to Hwy 101. It was on a Fri., so little to no traffic. Just post Where & When to meet you all.

Is this still on, and what time are you meeting in Pine Mountain Club. I just bought a GXP on the 4th, and this kind of drive is why I got the car. I live in Bakersfield, so it would be easy for me to get there. Thanks.

Great, Len!

I'm going to make a run tomorrow to look at some logistics.

What I would like to know is this ....

I figure we have 2 ways to do this one...

If we just go from Ojai up to Lockwood Valley Rd and back, it's 75 miles total.

If we take in the "Pine Mountain Club Loop: that would add another 86 miles to it.

Let me know which way you all want to do it.

Dang, I "almost" made this ride, but I gotta East that weekend... would have been great. I used to live in Ventura in the 90s (down in the Pierpont Lanes), loved these roads to and behind Ojai. Hey, next time I am definately IN, lots of friends still in Ventura to stay with!

Thanks for all of the photos and documentation on this ride. Would you mind if I posted some of the photos and maps at GM Roadster Car Club Saturn Sky Pontiac Solstice Opel GT Daewoo DX2 Owners - Home in our great rides section?
