Cpt,
How was the turn out today at C&C? I had to work today and couldn't make. We had a pretty good turn out last week.

1952 Blastolene Indy Special

By faf the most impessive car at C&C today was the 1952 Blastolene Indy Special. Here is a link to info on ithttp://www.germancarzone.com/american-cars/28627-29-3-liter-v12-blastolene-special-not-jay-lenos.html
Says it is 29.3L enfine from an M47 Patton Tank
Here is some info from AAF American Armoured Foundation Tank Museum - Tank Engines - Continental Air Cooled V12 Tank Engine

Continental Air Cooled AV-1790-5B V12 Tank Engine:

A Continental AV-1790-5B engined M47 Patton Tank at the AAF Musuem
Displacement: 1,792ci
Number of Cylinders: V12
Cooling: Air
Aspiration: Normal
Horsepower: 810 at 2,800rpm

This engine powers both the M-47 Patton Tank and Jay Leno's tank engined car. Here's another site showcasing a race between Jay Leno's Tank Car and an M1 Abrams gas turbine engined main battle tank.

I have no idea what car this is, but look behind it. Love the R8 next to a desert bug!

Thank you so much for the pics..

Carpe Diem - I've said it before, and I still agree . . . A front license plate on a Solstice is like a Playboy centerfold with a hair lip.

Anybody going on 8/15/09?

I know a couple of PT's or one PT and a Crossfire that might be there. Someone to meet and freak out that you know who they are.

MiO aka Mike-in-Orange - the dude who works for Meguiars. Who can set up a detail day for you guys. Its a cool thing to do! And you get goodies to take home!

And Jeff another PT owner who is a hardcore gearhead. He had a midget for a while, that just about killed him. It was a frustrating build that never made it. So he has a soft spot for a roadster..

Jeff on the left and MiO on the right.

MiO's rides.

The Crossfire

Jeff's rides.
A show PT and a track rat PT..
Yes its wearing slicks.

Yes its wearing slicks.. He got this one after chipping the paint on the one above..

Ok you know who to look for, they have pics of your cars.. Discuss and have fun
