That was a great run. Beautiful weather, inspiring scenery and nice newly paved road near Big Bear for smooth, tight cornering. Also great food at the end, with a view of the lake.

As usual, friendly folk to chat with at dinner. And a big thanks to Endisky and AdamVIP who passed on to me the "seat belt retainer of honor". I had been thinking of purchasing one previously. At dinner AdamVIP queried, "would anyone like a free seat belt holder?" The only conditions to acceptance were 1) if I didn't like it, I had to personally pass it on to another Solstice owner for free, and 2) I couldn't split up the set. How could I turn that down.

Review: OK, I see the reason it is not high on keepsake lists. It causes the belts to roll up verrrrryyyy slowly. But I am getting used to it. There are two ways to thread the belts, and one is definitely slower than the other. But I am going to give it a good trial before passing it on.

So thanks again for the run, good company, eats, and the free toy.

Hey rich, once you get annoyed of it, i wouldnt mind having a go at it lol. If you're already bored of it, bring it to the dinner tonight if you're going. I understand all the conditions lol.

lol. I will keep you in mind. But I'm not ready to give up yet. It works well enough so far. I find if I lift it up when I unbuckle it retracts better. The main reason I wanted them is because the passengers always tend to let the buckle face the wall and it vibrates when noone is on that side. So far this has cured that problem well.

Can't make the dinner tonight. Have relatives coming in from out of town. Maybe the next one. Keep me posted.
