I ran it on Sunday about 10:3am
Starting point:
Vons/Hollywood Video on the SE corner of Mills & Baseline in Claremont
I had a good time. Ran from there to Mt Baldy then turned West onto Glendora Ridge Rd, which is a paved unlined WONDERFULL road. Very twsty and in good shape. Great views with many places to get good shots.
When I got to Glendora Mountain road I turned Left and headed toward Glendora. I had see a spot I wanted to get some photos from last week but was not sure where it was. Found it a couple of miles after the turn. It overlooks the San Gabriel Dam. I then went back the way I came and made the loop to EE Fork Rd then to San Gabriel Canyon Rd (39) along the Reservoir down to Azusa.

I was talking to Crimson Avenger and suggesed this as a WCKCC event. He seemed to think it was a good idea. Don't know what it involves but as long as it is open to everyone who wants to come,the more the merrier
One thing we talked about was the date. I was looking at next weekend, Sunday May 3rd and May the 10th was suggested. I think that is Mothers Day and could work for me, but maybe not eveyone?
Those Interested let me know. May 3rd or May 10th?
NOW FOR THE BAD NEWS
There were 3 motorcycle cops and 2 CHP cars on the route.
At least one motorcycle was pulled over (prolly for speed) and a Z3 was ticketed for NO FRONT LICENSE PLATE This is the down side

I went there last month with a group of cobalts and some srt 4's. A cop was waiting around the corner already giving other people tickets for parking up there without a pass. (I dont think you can park anywhere out there unless you buy a pass). Anyway, the cop pulled all of us over...all 12 of us. He asked all of us where our front license plate was cuz no one had one but luckily no one got a ticket but he was extremely mad and told us "get the hell off my mountain"! This was on E. Fork Rd. I believe.
I suppose I could put my front license plate on if I could find my bracket....but I wouldnt be driving too fast out there.
