Hard to believe...
There are just so many great twisties going through such gorgeous landscapes in Southern California. I am incredibly jealous of everybody who's going on this run.

Now, you're building anticipation! Will it still be yellow, or is that changing as well?
I do hope it's ready. Here's crossing my fingers for you!
Sounds like a blast! Wish I could make it but I have little league games and golf tournaments this weekend.
The drive up from Anza-Borrego to Lake Henshaw is beautiful; late afternoon especially. In the lake Henshaw area keep your eyes peeled for lots of wild turkeys... I've seen hundreds in that area before, often in groups of 20 or 30.
If you live north you can continue west from lake Henshaw on 76 all the way to I-15 and points north (or continue out to the coast).

Enjoy!
Yup, should be a fun drive. We'll keep our eyes out for the turkeys. At the Rim of the World, we saw a pair of squirrels sparing out in the middle of the parking lot in Running Springs.
GGGRRRRRRRR, just found out that my car IS NOT done yet, so no car all weekend. Unfortunatly I will be missing this one.
Sorry your car wasn't ready in time.
We'll catch you at the next one.
That means we'll have to add some more to the schedule... Aw, what a shame!
One of the next events that we have coming up is the Toys for Tots car show out in Fontana at the Automobile Club Raceway. That's November 23, but I suspect we'll probably put something together toward the end of October, or the beginning of November.
