Our WCKCC meet in Monterey at Laguna Seca will be Sept. 8-10. Sorry, just a couple of week before you get here. You must miss your Sol. You sold it before getting deployed right? PM me when you get into town and maybe we can schedule a supplimental club meet with the Northern District of the club. Chance is the Northern district Rep.

Nope, just going to Denver for a conference. I'll be here until at least summer '09. I'll probably be in Monterey for a week or so sometime for a quick class. Not sure when that will be yet. I'll let the NorCal/CenCal crew know when I'm heading that way.
Yep, I sold my Sol (soul?) when I found out I was moving to Germany for sure. I still wonder if I made the right decision, but what's done is done. The kicker was when I found out that I would be without warranty support over here (it's in the warranty book, even) and that GM was pulling out of the Military Exchange New Car Sales Program altogether. You're right, I do miss it. I bought a used GTP (supercharged Grand Prix) that I'm modifying here and there. It'll be better for the autobahn road trips anyway, once I get rid of that pesky speed limiter (currently 128 MPH). But I miss the Solstice when I'm on any other road.
