Thinking of heading for a ride say from Iowa westward over the course of around 10 days. I'm looking for a primarily Non-interstate route that offers, scenery, some attractions and a safe easy to follow route to travel. Would like to travel on portions of Old Route 66 at times but any nice routes or roads smaller than the interstates would be fine. Any suggestions?
