TX owners FYI

Just talked to a friend at church who monitors all the vehicle inspection site in my area.
She informed me how illegal my car is...
First off the air filter can not be open... in other words it has to be inclosed...
found it very odd....but true...
it get's better... you don't need a windshield, but must have serviceable windshield wipers..

funny but true... the air filter was the one most of you have... so thought I would share that..
will it pass inspection???? it will depend on the station and how strick they are...
I got mine inspected and no one said a word about anything.. lights blacked out.. air filter.. turn signals not visible...

just a heads up to all TX folks..

When I go to get mine inspected in July, they probably wont be happy with most of my car... we'll just have to wait and see...

Mine passed inspection in February without a hiccup, open filter and all. I'de bet dollars to donuts that not 1 inspector in 10 knows (or cares) about the open filter restriction.
