We will see what we can do, but so far not much interest in it other than you and me. A few other people just have jam packed weekends and stuff going on preventing them from coming along for a drive.
We might have to postpone stuff until Spring . . . but I will keep the fall idea floating around for a bit, in case interest picks up.

A run up toward Whistler is pretty nice this time of year, or if you don't have that much time, even Squamish. Crisp air, leaves turning....let me know if you guys get it together!

I think we should meet up even if we can only get 3 or 4 people we don't need a big group to go for a nice drive, + i wanna show off my new wheels
Sounds good.

The only October weekend that works for me is the 24th. Holiday weekend coming up is too busy, car going in for service on the 17th, 24th okay, halloween stuff on the 31st.
So is everyone happy with Whistler? I don't mind taking that drive as long as it isnt snowy. There is also a nice waterfall park along the way near Whistler, Brandywine Falls park, cool waterfall for pictures. We could also try the gondola thing, I haven't been on that yet, not sure how much it costs.

One easy one to use would be the pull off on the north side of Hwy 1 just west of the Chevron station in West Van (at the Westmount cloverleaf). Go under the overpass and right after you see the Chevron station on th left side of the highway, look for the pull out on the right before the next exit that goes to Caulfield shopping centre.
The only glitch would be our island member, but if you got off the ferry and headed east and took the exit at the station you can loop around and come back easily. If you overshoot and see the Cypress Park exit, you can take it and come back.
We just need to set a meet time there, if you want to use that spot (pipe up if any of you have a better suggestion). As you are coming from the island, maybe you can check the ferry schedule and let us know your timing.
Do you guys only want Solstices? I can probably get a couple of guys in Fieros that would like a run, if you wanted to make it an all-Pontiac sports car run....
