Hi everyone - A great weekend! It was fun to meet everyone and see all the other Kappas. Many thanks to Geoff and Bev for organizing everything.
I made it home to Victoria on Monday afternoon after spending Sunday night in Vancouver. I lost John and Brian after Merritt. I guess I'm not such a speed demon! On the other hand, I can't post a picture with the RCMP like WoWWii did.
After I saw the photos Shawn took, I said nearly the same thing to him. He did a great job! I'm very proud of him.
Shawn....think Digital "35mm" SLR, TTL, Macro Zoom, 10.....14 megapixels.....christmas, NOW would be a good time to make up a ummm coughcoughchristmaslistforsantacoughcough
Nice job

I'm so sad I missed this!
Is there anything else coming up for the West Coast in the near future?
Definite maybe.
There has been a few people expressing interest in some kind of cruise before the rain sets in, September maybe?
I have kept a fun twisty roads cruise idea for a while, but it is mostly on the west side, others might have routes thru the valley or maybe another Whiterock meet?
Keep in mind that we will likely do two or three events every year, the Seattle Roadster show in the spring, Tulip Rallye (Burlington, WA) late April, and probably Vernon or Kamloops (both have car events same weekend in August), also the Evergreen formula Drift event same weekend as Vernon (see Pacific forum for details).
Always check the forum here for news or info about the upcoming events!

That's fabulous! I'll be sure to keep my eye open for the next one!
I would also be game for another run before fall. The Vernon run was a lot of fun. All good people, it would be nice to hook up again before the driving season is over.
We're just back from camping in the VW, looked at your pics at Mike's video, and I'm itching to download my own. The trip in the VW was much slower, and very different than in the car.
We had a great time meeting all of you, and thank you Geoff for hosting us and allowing us all to wash our beasts.....before going to the street show. The dip in the pool was great too. Thanks Bev for being so great about the supercharger.......
It was nice meeting the Albertan's too.....WowWii - Lee said it's no wonder you got a ticket, if you drive as fast as you drink tequilla.......but then he wasn't driving, so he can't talk. He also says you bring the cups next time!!!
No radar, no tickets....lots of bug blood on the bumper. One HUGE moth that hit the windshielf right in front of Lee's head.....got home from Penticton at 12:30 am Monday, driving in pitch black thru a major meteor shower in Manning Park. I was driving, Lee was blissflully sleeping in the passenger seat, I saw a HUGE falling star and screamed "WOW"....and he woke up thinking I was driving off the road.
So glad we met up with you all at the restaurant - Lee was right. Find the cars, all parked nicely in the underground while we're driving in the crap rainshowers looking for a car show. He said find the closest bar.......and there you all were. At least we got to have a final drink with you all.
I'll be downloading my own pics this week. We're also in for another run in September, or whenever we organize.
Great meeting you all.....great times, great cars......what else is there???????
