Just wondering is anyone knows of any race shops in South Texas who can perform corner-weighting and alignment procedures? I know many shops can do the alignment, but the corner-weighting...Not so much. I can drive to Austin or Houston, but wondering if there is anything closer to Corpus Christi. Thanks.

They are Italian. Very good reviews and more importantly, lots of track testing in Europe. They have only been in the states for a few years, like 3 or 4 if that. I have ridden their tires on my racing road bicycle, and they are great. The tread pattern is quite different, and yet very grippy. Prices have been as high as $257/tire, but I got these for $150/tire. I just couldn't resist. I used to own a business and I tested a lot of high-performance tires for my clients. I sure wish these had been around back then. They are assymetrical, so you can actually rotate them front to back, or cross-rotate them. But I will just go front to back myself. If you should decide on a set, I don't think you will be disappointed, especially at this price-point. Good luck.

I actually haven't had the opportunity to check them in the rain, as we just haven't had any. But look up the tire at Google and there is a good amount of info on the tire. ALso, there is YouTube video and lots of info if you just type in Vredestein Sessanta in the box. I like'em, plus the make almost no noise. Good luck and enjoy.

I was able to find someone in Austin, not sure how much of a drive that is for you, I do not have any personal experience with them:

SoulSpeed Contact

I will let you know if I find anyone else maybe closer.

Dave,

Thanks. I spoke with them last week. It is about a 4.5 hour drive, so I am searching for someone closer. San Antonio is half that distance and I may have one there. Thanks. Looking forward to the Pro Beam tomorrow.

They make really good bicycle tires. They also make those terrific compact spare tires. I can't say I have ever used there regular car tires though.
