party with everyone. Some of you owe me a beer.
I am sure it wouldn't hurt but FIRST get better tires, the stock tires on the NA suck. There are several options, the Bridgestone's The Goodyear D3's or even the new Nitto Invo, these are only about $160 each they will be my next tire on my GXP.

I hope you arnt saying there are no struts so no need for a bar Red Devil. My Scion xB doesnt either and the Strut Bar helped GREATLY! It doesnt mean anything about Struts. This Bar is just strengthing the body of the car to reduce flexing.
Also my Solstice isnt nearly as good suspension wise as my Shinka Model RX8 and the addition of a Strut Bar to it I noticed it helped as well.....so go figure....
These are shocks, not struts for the Sol. How shocks are mounted as opposed to struts is why on cars like your RX-8 that their effects are non-existent in terms of keeping the shock towers from flexing. Strut towers will flex. However, I will buy that independent of shock flex, that strut/shock bars can in fact strengthen the chassis a bit.
I have strut bars on my RX-8, but not because I thought it would keep the shock towers in line. I saw it as a cheap way, like Mazdaspeed or AutoEXE undercarriage braces, to strengthen the car. Probably more snake oil then anything else as I've tracked with and without them and noticed no appreciable difference.
If you think you felt a difference in your RX-8, especially if it were driving on the street where you should be nowhere near the limits, I'd suggest placebo effect.
I think my point is no harm in getting them, but money would better be spent on tires and alignment, etc...than on that particular part. That, along with undercarriage braces, were last on my list.

You'll get way more bang for the buck then an item like this. I'm not saying you wont benefit from it, but all I have to say is the Solstice is winning C-Stock and SSB against longer running race prepped cars without it. After you've done some of the more basic things and such like race training then an upgrade like this could help once you've gotten yourself tuned to the car.
I've removed the non-supporting vendor links, you guys know that's a no-no. Google is your friend anyways.

Well I have:
new tires.
Dont wanna spend money of a "sports alignment" since cause isnt on the track, just want better handling on the street
Dont need brakes right now either as stopping is fine and will get all that when i get the Front and Rear BBK.
For anyone who is interested in this mod, Tire Rack does carry it. The CSB2008 DC Sports Carbon Steel Upper Bar runs $109 from us and while it is currently out of stock we should have a couple soon. It was just added to the system last night so it will not be on the website for a couple days. Anyone who would like to backorder one now can call me directly.

It makes a huge difference even on the street. Give it a shot, you might like it.

For the most part you would want more negative camber. I don't know exactly and I think it will vary from car to car. My honda did very well with -.5 in front and -1.5 in the rear. I use a temperature gauge to see how it's effecting the tire. On the porsche I have -1 in front and I beleive -.5 in the back but I could be mistaken on that.
Sure there are some people with some good settings if you look in the racing forum.
The idea is to have your tires sitting flat in the corners. You want to make sure you are using the entire tire.
You can also mess with the toe and castor and such. I admit I don't really understand castor but setting the toe out on the front makes it much more responsive but annoying for everyday driving. Never set the toe out on the back that could be interesting

If a Sport Alignment (not a Race alignment) gives one noticably better handling on the street, then why didn't Pontiac do that on all Solstices at the factory?
