I am hoping to go. Unless things get in the way Ill be going. Right now I have taken the turbo off of the car. I am getting the manifold coated for show and gonna get the turbo housing polished. But since I know where it was on the car I will/should be able to tell fitment.
Uncivil. What kind of paint are you using? I only found 600 and 1200 degree paint. The 1200 was black and a flat red. I could of sworn some people have seen 1400 on these forums through the the dash hawk.

i had a 2000 Z28 which also had upper and lower A arms with coilovers. i put a shock tower brace the month i bought it. i didn't notice a difference. but five years later my car was a lot tighter than other 2000s because of that and subframe connectors i had installed at the same time.
the point is that the STB and SFCs help to stiffen the chassis. maybe the chassis is stiff enough now that it doesn't make much of a difference in handling.
does anyone make subframe connectors for the kappa?

The F-body is unibody w/ subframes, the upper a-arms and the weight of the car is supported by the body. In that case a strut bar could very well help. The kappa is full framed so not only is the advantage of a strut bar somewhat doubtful the use of sub frame connectors is pretty much out of the question. All subframe connectors do is try to emulate the rigidity of a full frame but since the kappa already has a full frame they wouldnt make much sense.
The car doesn't make the driver faster, the driver makes the car faster!
Anyone who doesn't know how to drive a stock Soli at 10/10ths (the stock Soli is very good, it takes a very good driver to get to even 8/10ths on a race course) isn't going to be any faster no matter how many or how good the mods actually are. In addition no one no matter how skilled should be driving at 7+/10ths on the street, there isn't enough safety cushion for even the slightest mistake, and innocent people are being put in harms way.
Spend you money on a good driving school like Evolution and take up autocross to learn how to maximize what you already spent money on, before wasting it on things that only make one thing go faster: the balance in your bank account.
