I just received my DDM 4-pots yesterday, but didn't open them until last night after work, and there are no instructions. Does anyone have a set they can e-mail to me? I am installing the Pro Beam first this morning, and then the calipers. Not sure if there is anything in particular that is required to install them, so just wanted to see some instructions. Being a holiday, I don't know if I will get a response from Dave or Randy. They are top-notch kinda folks, so no biggie, but hey, 3 day weekend means workin' on the Bumble-Bee. Thanks.

Are you doing calipers or calipers and rotors? Have you ever done break work before? If so, do you know how to bleed brakes?

Hey Jeff,

I used to own a business doing high-end performance work on Porsche, Cosworth, etc., but don't want to take anything for granted as I haven't taken the front wheels off yet to take a peek. I am doing the pro beam now, and brakes later today. Just want clarification so as not to take the car apart and then need something extra. That's all. I am however fairly new to the Solstice club, but have done quite a few mods already. Not hard stuff, but is tie-consuming. Nothing new where cars are concerned. Thanks for the reply.

The calipers and rotors are pretty easy. Everything bolts right up. You'll need to bleed the lines. Are you replacing the brake lines with SS? Not sure the nut size. The stock rotors are held on by 18mm bolts, don't have the torque spec but do a search and you'll find it. If your doing the rotors you'll need a T-30 Torx, if I remember correctly. Here is a link to bleeding ABS brakes StopTech : Balanced Brake Upgrades and this link also StopTech : Balanced Brake Upgrades I hope this helps.
