Anybody heard when or if Pontiac or somebody will be coming out with things like aluminium kick plates/door sills and aluminium pedal covers?

They are going to be available on the Sky only with and included in PCH preium trim package, and teh pedal covers are stainless. As long as they don't have Saturn stamped into them they should be available and work straight out of Saturn parts. I would surmise, though, that the sill plates will be embossed with Saturn or Sky and not be applicable to a Sol, even though they will fit. Whether Pontiac offers these pieces is for someone else to answer.

Yeah, I was defintely disapointed when I discovered they had those on the Sky with the upgraded interior packages but not the Sol. If those had been Sol options I would have gotten that package just for those.

I would think some of our supporting members could come up with something "Special" for the SOL to fill this need. Which I would have is I had my SOL.

I brought this up a few months ago, because I really want steel pedals, but you have to either:

A. Screw metal pedals straight to the current pedals
B. Remove entire pedal and connecting arm, and replace entire pedal and connecting arm

because according to Government Regulations or something, they have to be one-piece.

Option A can actually produce a quality pedal if done correctly.

Bump

Any word on aftermarket pedals? Are there places to look other than the Sky for these products? Are there any compatability considerations with these?
